This series of work is an offshoot of the male gender stereotype work I am also pursuing.  I am interested in pattern, and how pattern can captivate the eye.  Like the more typical gender stereotype work, these too begin with found photos and then are built up layer by layer into a pattern that then breaks free, just as men need to break free of the cultural stereotyping that defines them far too narrowly.
